Vietnam MOST Delegation Amazed by STPI’s Achievements in S&T Policy Research

A delegation from Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in Vietnam visits STPI on September 22, 2014. Led by Deputy Director General of State Agency for Technology Innovation Ms. Tran Thi Hong Lan, the delegates are the representatives of Vietnam government to facilitate bilateral cooperation in Science and Technology with Taiwan.  In the meeting hosted by STPI Director General Yuh-Jzer Joung, Ms. Tran Thi indicates that her delegation is highly interested in STPI’s research in patent mapping.  Dr. Chin-Yuan Fan of Policy Research Division therefore spends 30 minutes introducing the patent intelligence service of STPI to the delegation. The delegation is amazed by the capacity and achievements of STPI after Dr. Fan’s presentation.
Ms. Tran Thi points out that there are a number of science and technology policy research institutes in Vietnam conducting similar research as STPI.  She hopes there will be more exchange and cooperation activities in the related fields between 2 countries in the near future.
